What we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This Privacy Policy explains how Tomorrowstek LLC, doing business as Tomorrow'sTek (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the Tomorrow'sTek website and the TekGarage application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

You provide or generate the following:

  • Account information — your email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider), and optional display name.
  • Vehicle information — VIN, make/model/year, mileage, service and fuel records, modifications, tire and option data, photos, and any registration or insurance documents you choose to upload.
  • Diagnostic data — fault codes, scan/drive data, and readings you record or import (where you use OBD features).
  • Payment information — handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited details such as subscription status and the last four digits.
  • Usage information — basic technical data such as device/browser type and interactions needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service and your account;
  • Decode your VIN and generate vehicle-specific maintenance, parts, and diagnostics;
  • Process subscriptions and send transactional emails (confirmations, resets, alerts, digests);
  • Improve and secure the Service, prevent abuse, and provide support;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Resend — sending transactional and notification emails.
  • NHTSA and similar public databases — VIN decoding and recall lookups.
  • AI providers — to generate diagnostic guidance from the codes/symptoms you submit.
  • Affiliate networks (e.g., Amazon) — when you click affiliate links; governed by their own policies.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use them to sell your data. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may delete your vehicles and content at any time, and you may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain uses. You can update or delete much of your data directly in the app, unsubscribe from non-essential emails, and contact us to exercise other rights. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users & State Privacy Laws

The Service is operated from the United States, and your information will be processed there. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy laws (such as the EU/UK or certain U.S. states), you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
